Background

Practical Quality Services, Inc. was incorporated in December of 1992 in response to customer requests for assistance in Leadership skills and techniques, and implementation of the Six Sigma tools and techniques that helped Florida Power & Light Company be the first company outside of Japan to win Japan’s coveted Deming Prize.
We remain dedicated to helping our customers achieve their desired results, while at the same time leaving them with the technical and cultural capability to continue their journey to excellence without us.

Our People

As in all quality organizations, our success is dependent on the quality of our people. At PQS, all our associates are seasoned veterans of the business environment, many spending more than 20 years in the business world before joining our team. Our Associates have all experienced the implementation of the tools and techniques we utilize while in the business world, many during FPL’s successful challenge for the Deming Prize.
